I seem to recall around 10 years ago it was announced that a new engine had been developed it only had a couple of moving parts and was so light it could be disconnected and simply lifted out the engine bay by 1 guy. The lack of moving parts saw engine efficiancy increase dramatically and hence fuel performance was hugely enhanced.

Does anyone know what became of this engine? Was there an oil industry conspiracy to get it from its natural development?

An engine such as this coupled with renewable fuel perhaps vegetable based could be the way forward with oil prices going higher and higher!

Anyone got any thoughts or knowledge of this engine?

If you're dead serious (heh) prove it! Stop being boring nobby, and show us this engine with two moving parts! Vanished is a terrible excuse, what has ever really vanished?

lord lucan

not an engine though.
