It's an interesting little satori I had recently: The self doesn't need to remember anything. Just like I don't need to know how I work my thyroid gland. i just do it. Simply. So when I die I will not have to put up with everlasting nonexistence because that is not an experience. People continue with the notion that death is some kind of experience. Going to heaven.. going to hell; going to sleep for ever. What is it like to go to sleep and never wake up? What was it like to become conscious after never having been asleep? You can't have an experience of nothing. So after you die the only thing that can happen is what happened before you were born; Absolutely no-thing |
