yep thats right, still a loser and still wanting to sit on my ass and chat!! Seems like our chathome is rather dead the last year, 6months. Why the helllll arent there people chatting in there? I mean yeah, I know people have lives but what the helllll..... I'm wondering if there is any way to bring life back to Debait. Maybe we need to come up with some new TOPICS and lure them in... or something.
If any one has any ideas lemme know what I can do!!

Ok here goes.

I am in no way a reg in debait, in fact, i think ive only been there once, but what you describe if a common issue to chat channels. Its simple really after a while, users tend to come down with a condition called "having a life" and are forced to put chat rooms on a lower level of importance, this condition ofc, does not affect everyone, just look at Knot. ;)

One thing I have noticed about the Debait chat room is that it becomes many people's last stop before leaving WinMx entirely. Perhaps the brutality of Debait is enough to push people to realize just how much time is wasted in chat rooms having meaningless discussions with morons. So Debait can be considered to be providing a service of giving people back their lives. I'm so fucking altruistic.

Personally i think peopel aren't chatting in debait because other chat channels have adopted a "retarded younger cousin" version of the freedom of speech rule. Places like heresy and Politics and Heretics all have a freedom of speech air about them.

But no true freedom of speech environment. Perhaps they just wanted to get away from that altruistic mother fucker who runs debait : )

Definitely the other philosophy channels have become more relaxed and tolerant since Debait has been around... yet people still love being @dministrator in a channel so they can feel important or some shit.
