Editing of Posts Now Allowed for 15 mins After Posting Thank-yous to Scar~ for the suggestion. The reason that editing of your posts is restricted on this site is so that people can be held accountable to their words, and not change them, or erase them (as has been done on my forum before). With the new phpbb forum version 3.0 that we recently upgraded to, though, I've found I can allow a time limited editing period for people to correct any glaring errors, and I've set that limit to 15 minutes, as Scar suggested. If anyone finds 15 minutes an unworkable time frame in which to edit your published posts, too fucking bad. Lol. |
