Hey, thanks for the link, Skunk. I've downloaded it and reviewed it, and when I've got some time, I'll see about modifying the forum.

Well so far as the redirect mod, I won't bother because 1) It's too much work to bother - I don't mind waiting a few seconds for the redirect, and 2) Any mods I add the forum, when phpbb upgrades, I will have to reinstall the modifications each time, which makes it more of a hassle.

Regarding the free speech web ring though, I'm all for it. If you'd like me to host it on a subdomain, I've been looking at some "topsite" list software I can install on a subdomain, where like minded web masters can join their own sites to the web ring. Let me know and I'll get it done. Great idea.

I was referring to the web ring idea. I don't know if a top site voting site is what I had in mind, more like a repository of websites that I guess we've approved...Mainly forums, but I'd like to have websites that support free speech and are anti-corruption like public intelligence, cryptome, EFF and wikileaks (despite the particular organizations faults and shortcomings).

On amkon I was considering adding a links navigation bar where any member could submit a website of their choice, but that's not quite as powerful as a central place with a listing of different websites that support freedom of speech. I'd really like to do a stand alone site, although I am not much of a web designer.

Let me know what you think.

Yeah I saw that, be interesting to see how they plan on enforcing the law. Are they only going after sites hosted in the uk?
